How do I protect my executive desk top from scratches? I just bought a large new desk and want to protect the desk top from scratches and stuff. I looked at buying glass from different vendors and it seems very expensive..does home depot have a glass making department? Also are there any other alternatives to protect the desk top?

Question about mold on a wood desk? We are inheriting this really old wooden desk. It's quite large, like one you would see in an executive office. It was in the basement and has a small patch of mold on it. Does anyone know how to remove the mold without having to refinish the entire piece? I can only assume that refinishing it would be costly. Do you think that we should look to the government for health costs? We should all be entitled to the same medical treatment, it seems wrong that an executive sitting behind a desk gets better medical treatment than someone breaking their back climbing ladders all day because he cannot afford or be offered the same plan.

This is a portion of troop funding??? Those who are complaining the loudest about spending are only worsening the problem...and then blaming others for cogressional gridlock. No, the President should not have unrestricted power to make laws but also, congress should not have the ability to frivilously spend our tax dollars because they cannot use common sense either.
