glass desk?

I have white caret in my room, the walls are painted a calming blue and all my wood is light brown. the desk is in the corner facing the window. should i go with an L shaped glass desk or L shaped dark black wood. both are on sale and cant decide which

1. Glass will drive you nuts with the dust and fingerprints. Also, the way the top is affixed sometimes makes them seem unstable. If the glass is less than 1/2" thick, don't even bother with it.
2. I would prefer the glass, { thick glass} but it is a beast to keep the fingerprints off..black will show dust.. pick your poison..
3. white carpet? that's just crazy. won't matter much what kind of desk you have. I wouldn't ever do white carpet, but since you already have, go with the dark wood, bring in a touch of class, not glass.
4. Both would be fine, but Id go with the black wood, simply because of the window. There will be alot of natural light coming in and it might reflect, and cause a glare on your monitor, or even in your eyes.
5. I would go with the glass the black wood might not look so great with the light colored wood that you already have.
